WIDE is involved in several local, regional and European projects. Highlight on the most recent one:
As a pionner in coding education in Luxembourg we are pround to announce that we are now part of a new Erasmus + project in the field of adult education « WOW CODE 2 CONFIDENCE »

In a few words: we organise regular activities around coding but what is the take aways for our learners and the women we train ?
Beyond technical abilities, how do they new skills empower women and can allow to make them more confident to be creative, to develop employability or to start their own company ?
The kick off meeting already tool place in Sine Mures, Romania, at the end of October.
During this 20 months journey we will share best practices with our partners as well as local and international stakeholders.

Women in Digital Initiatives Luxembourg Asbl is a non profit organisation initiated in Luxembourg in 2013 and officially founded in 2014 currently acting as WIDE (Women in Digital Empowerment).
WIDE vision:
To empower women with and thanks to digital. To increase the number of women seizing the opportunities in the digital economy and society.
WIDE mission:
To offer practical support and activities to include more women and men in the field of digital. To contribute to build a more diverse workforce and a wider ICT talent pipeline for Luxembourg.
To do so we work on three pillars:

Marie-Adélaïde co-founded Girls in Tech Luxembourg in 2013, and WIDE in 2016. She is supporting women entrepreneurship in Luxembourg in the technological area. She is Senior Communications Officer at the law firm Arendt & Medernach. With WIDE, she focuses on organizing events, conferences and developing partnerships with the private sector.

Marina is the organizer of the first coding classes for Women in Luxembourg and has been appointed by European Commission to be an ambassador in Luxembourg to promote IT skills, with initiatives such as EU Code Week since 2013.

Geekette since her first iMac in 1997, Annabelle is still in new technology! She is passionate about web and development and is currently a Web Designer and Communication Manager at Agile Partner. She is also involved in the Java User Group Luxembourg, well-known as YAJUG.
